On the way to Africa!

It’s time to leave again! Travelling via hometown is not really chill but anyway… we’re finally ready to go after a hectic few days and by far not that much work done as planned. But hey, cant win ’em all, right?

We’re currently at Frankfurt airport…still. Our plane was supposed to leave 5 hours ago but had a severe delay. We got re booked to a different airline that has a direct flight to Johannesburg very late. At least it’s direct and we still arrive roughly at the same time.

The good thing about getting a late flight… you’ve got plenty of time (sarcasm… in case you didn’t notice 😁) . O.k., and you get a food voucher, which will get you also plenty of food. I was actually surprised about the amount of options and the rather low prices. (Maybe I’m still somehoe comparing to Switzerland?! 😆)

That will keep me going at least until next morning. (Vegan chocolate pudding at a German air terminal… seriously, this is heaven!!)

Right now we’re waiting for boarding and have an amazingly comfy seat with quite a good TV view in front of us.

We cheers to you (with our local, vegan 1€ cider!! 😱) and I hope I can keep you updated here. Even though, I hope it will be as remote as I imagine and I won’t be able to actually do it. 😉

And getting ready again!

We’re back in Germany… again! For not wanting to come back for a whole year, this spot seems to be a rather regular one now.

But actually, we’re back for a mission. Mission 1: Visiting the family! No, that’s not a visit I have to do but I loved doing it. I love my family and I love seeing them, especially as I got to see most of them way too rarely. This time, sure, there was a lot of catching up!

Family! ❤

Mission 2: Getting that little munchkin ready for the winter. Steven, our home, has to get a deep clean and some TLC before he can go on very well deserved holiday. 6 weeks, 5500 km, 8 countries…. not bad, not bad 😉

Mission 3: Get that suitcase ready for AFRICA!! It’s time for that fina chapter of my travels, the continent I am super excited about. Wildlife, safari and a totally unknown culture. Two month, 10 countries. It’s not gonna be a relaxing holiday but it’s gonna be a lifetime experience!

OK, Germany isn’t that bad (sometimes)
